<p>मुख्यमंत्री निर्देश, प्रशासनिक अधिकारी सुध लेने नहीं पहुंचे:-<br />
एक तरफ मुख्यमंत्री भजनलाल शर्मा ने सरहदी बाड़मेर जिले में गर्मी के मौसम में जलापूर्ति सुनिश्चित करवाने के लिए प्रभावी मॉनिटरिंग के लिए जिला स्तरीय अधिकारियों के साथ ग्राम पंचायत स्तरीय कार्मिकों को पिछले दो दिनों सेे फील्ड में जाने के निर्देश हैं। वहीं, कलक्टर ने उपखंड अधिकारी के साथ जिला स्तरीय विभागीय अधिकारियों को तहसीलदार, विकास अधिकारी के साथ स्थानीय ग्राम विकास अधिकारी एवं पटवारी को जल स्रोतों का आकस्मिक निरीक्षण करने के निर्देश दिए हैं। बावजूद इसके अभी तक उपखण्ड, तहसील, पंचायत समिति मुख्यालय वाले कस्बे में अभी तक अधिकारी सुध लेने नहीं पहुंचे हैं।</p>

<p>Pahalgam Terror Attack: जम्मू-कश्मीर के पहलगाम में हुए आतंकी हमले की गूंज छत्तीसगढ़ की राजधानी रायपुर तक पहुंची। इस आतंकी हमले ने छत्तीसगढ़ के दो टूरिस्ट को अपनी चपेट में लिया है। </p>

<p>छत्तीसगढ़़ के 65 लोग इस वक्त कश्मीर में फंसे हुए हैं। यह उन किस्मत वालों में से हैं, जिन्होंने पहलगाम के लिए निकले में 15 मिनट बाद सफर शुरू किया। वे 15 मिनट पहले निकले होते, तो जिस वक्त पहलगाम में आंतकवादी पर्यटकों पर ताबड़तोड़ गोलीबारी कर रहे थे, उस वक्त वे भी वहां मौजूद होते। पहलगाम से महज 10 किमी पहले उनको सुरक्षा में तैनात जवानों ने रोक लिया। वहां बताए कि आंतकवादी हमला हुआ है, जिसमें पर्यटकों की जान गई है इधर पूर्व सीएम भूपेश बघेल ने राज्य सरकार से अपेक्षा किया है कि सभी को सुरक्षित घर तक पहुंचाए।</p>

PM Modi Announces Five Key Decisions After Pahalgam Attack


<p><strong>Pahalgam Attack:</strong> A major terrorist attack occurred in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday. The attack resulted in the death of 28 people. Following the Pahalgam incident, a CCS meeting was held at PM Modi&#8217;s residence. After this meeting, the Ministry of External Affairs held a press conference. The Ministry of External Affairs stated that India is withdrawing from the Indus Waters Treaty and the Pakistan High Commission in India is being closed. All Pakistanis present in India have been asked to leave the country within the next 48 hours.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Information Provided About the Attack</h2>



<p>Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, in a press conference, stated that a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) was held under the chairmanship of PM Modi. The CCS was briefed in detail about the terrorist attack that took place in Pahalgam on Tuesday. The CCS strongly condemned the attack and expressed its deepest condolences to the families of the victims and wished for the speedy recovery of the injured.</p>



<p>Understanding the gravity of this terrorist attack, the CCS took the following decisions:</p>



<p>1. The 1960 Indus Waters Treaty will be suspended with immediate effect until Pakistan reliably and irrevocably abandons its support for cross-border terrorism.</p>



<p>2. The Integrated Check Post Attari will be closed with immediate effect. Those who have crossed the border with valid approvals can return via that route before May 1, 2025.</p>



<p>3. Pakistani citizens will not be permitted to travel to India under the SAARC Visa Exemption Scheme (SVES) visa. Any SVES visas issued to Pakistani citizens in the past will be considered cancelled. Any Pakistani citizen present in India under an SVES visa has 48 hours to leave the country.</p>



<p>4. The Defence/Military, Naval and Air Advisors in the Pakistani High Commission in New Delhi are declared Persona Non Grata. They have one week to leave India. India will be withdrawing its own Defence/Navy/Air Advisors from the High Commission in Islamabad. These positions in the respective High Commissions will be considered abolished. Five support staff of the service advisors from both High Commissions will also be withdrawn.</p>



<p>5. The total number of High Commission staff will be reduced from the current 55 to 30, to be achieved through further reductions by May 1, 2025.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">All-Party Meeting to be Held on Thursday</h2>



<p>Following the Pahalgam attack, the central government has decided to call an all-party meeting on Thursday, chaired by PM Modi. This meeting will be held in the Parliament Annex.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Response from Pakistan</h2>



<p>Following the Pahalgam attack and India&#8217;s first strike against Pakistan, former Pakistani Minister Chaudhry Fawad responded. Regarding the holding of the Indus Waters Treaty, he stated that India cannot do so under international law.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Instructions to Maintain Vigilance</h2>



<p>The CCS reviewed the overall security situation and instructed all forces to maintain high alert. A resolution was taken to bring the perpetrators of this attack to justice and hold their sponsors accountable. Similar to the recent extradition of Tahwwur Rana, India will continue its efforts to find those who have committed or conspired to enable terrorist acts.</p>

Abu Talha, another Pakistani terrorist, is on the far left. Both are considered puppets of Asim Munir, the cowardly mastermind behind the Pahalgam terror attack. A local terrorist, Junaid (third person), has already been killed in a previous encounter. In this image, the terrorist is holding an AK-47 and is wearing a kurta-pajama.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Sketches of Three Terrorists Released; High Alert in the Valley</h2>



<p>Of the seven terrorists involved in the attack, four directly participated, while three others provided backup. Security agencies have released sketches of the attackers, along with a group photograph, to expedite the search. A high alert has been declared in the valley, and search operations are underway throughout the region.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Terrorists Attacked with Deadly Weapons</h2>



<p>Preliminary investigations reveal that the terrorists used deadly weapons such as American M4 carbines and AK-47s. They arrived at the Baisaran meadow in disguise – some in kurta-pajamas and others in army-like uniforms. According to eyewitnesses, they first separated women and children, identified male tourists by asking for their identities, shot them at close range, and then opened indiscriminate fire. Over 50 cartridges have been recovered from the scene.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">One Identified as Local Overground Worker</h2>



<p>According to police sources, one of the attackers has been identified as Adil, a local overground worker (OGW) who recently returned from Pakistan. Locals had seen him in the area before the attack. The identification process for another terrorist is underway, with central agencies collaborating with local police.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, a senior team from the National Investigation Agency (NIA) arrived at the scene on Wednesday. The NIA may soon formally take over the investigation of the attack. The Ministry of Home Affairs has clarified that the involvement of terrorists from Pakistan is being confirmed.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Amit Shah Meets with Affected Families</h2>



<p>Union Home Minister Amit Shah has already arrived in Srinagar and met with the affected families to offer condolences. He stated that those responsible for this cowardly attack will not escape. The entire nation now awaits a retaliatory action amidst grief and outrage.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">JK Government Announces Compensation</h2>



<p>The Jammu and Kashmir CMO has announced an ex-gratia payment of ₹10 lakh to the families of the deceased, ₹2 lakh to those seriously injured, and ₹1 lakh to those with minor injuries. Arrangements have been made to transport the victims back to their homes.</p>

According to his wife, the terrorists asked for his name and then shot him in the head. When she pleaded with them to shoot her too, they replied, &#8220;We won&#8217;t kill you; you go and tell the government.&#8221;</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Shubham Was Supposed to Return Home Today</h2>



<p>Shubham married Aishanya on 12 February 2025. On 17 April, Shubham and Aishanya went to Jammu and Kashmir for a holiday. They were accompanied by his father, Sanjay Dwivedi, mother Seema Dwivedi, sister Aarati, brother-in-law Shubham Dubey, sister&#8217;s father-in-law Suresh Dubey (resident of Piarod), sister&#8217;s mother-in-law, and Shubham&#8217;s father-in-law Rajesh Pandey and his wife (residents of Yashoda Nagar), making a total of 11 people. They were scheduled to return home on 23 April, but a terrorist attack took place in Pahalgam on Tuesday afternoon at 2:45 pm, a day earlier. The attack resulted in the death of 27 people, including Shubham, and left more than 20 injured.</p>

<p><strong>Pahalgam Terrorist Attack:</strong> Outrage has swept across India following a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Amidst this, Dr. Praveen Togadia, founder and president of the International Hindu Council, has made a significant statement, urging Hindus across the nation to boycott tourism in Kashmir.</p>



<p>The terrorist attack in the Besran area of Pahalgam on Tuesday afternoon has claimed the lives of 27 people, including two foreigners and two locals. This is the largest attack in the Kashmir Valley since the Pulwama attack of 2019.</p>



<p>In an exclusive interview with Patrika.com, Dr. Praveen Togadia stated that tourists were killed in Pahalgam after being asked about their religion. He asserted that this is a direct attack on Hindus in India. He urged Hindus to cease tourism in Kashmir and instead visit places like Mount Abu, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Kodaikanal, Darjeeling, Assam, Mahabaleshwar, and Goa. Togadia appealed for a boycott of Kashmir tourism by Hindus.</p>

This morning, after returning to the country, PM Modi held a high-level meeting with External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar (S. Jaishankar) and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval (Ajit Doval) to discuss the terrorist attack. PM Modi used an alternative route while returning from Saudi Arabia.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">PM Modi avoids Pakistani Airspace</h2>



<p>PM Modi used Pakistani airspace while travelling to Saudi Arabia. However, on his return journey, his plane avoided Pakistani airspace, taking a different route. During the return journey, PM Modi&#8217;s plane flew directly over the Arabian Sea, crossed the Indian peninsula, and entered via Gujarat before reaching Delhi.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Shutdown Called in Several Areas Following Pahalgam Attack</h2>



<p>Political parties and social organisations have strongly condemned the attack and called for a shutdown and day of mourning. Following the attack, various organisations have called for a shutdown in Jammu. Additionally, shutdowns are also being observed in Doda, Kishtwar, Reasi, and Ramban. A collective call for a bandh has also been made in Pulwama.</p>


<p>In Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir, 2-3 terrorists attempted an infiltration. Targeting tourists, the terrorists are still attempting infiltration, though Indian soldiers have thwarted the attempt.</p>

<p>On Tuesday, terrorists targeted innocent people in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, in an act of hatred. The death toll from the indiscriminate firing of 50 rounds has now reached 27. This attack has raised concerns not only in India but also globally. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who was on a visit to Saudi Arabia, has altered his schedule and is returning to India shortly.</p>



<p>Among the deceased are two foreign tourists. Heavy security forces have been deployed in and around the incident site. A search operation is also underway. The administration has warned of strict action against the perpetrators. The Presidents of Russia and the USA have also expressed their condolences over the incident.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>PM Modi Returns to India</strong></h2>



<p>Following this barbaric terrorist attack, Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India has cut short his visit to Saudi Arabia and returned to India. PM Narendra Modi, taking a strong stance on the Pahalgam terrorist attack, stated, “Whoever is behind this attack will not be spared.” Following his return to India, a high-level meeting is expected to be held under PM Modi&#8217;s chairmanship to discuss eliminating terrorists. PM Modi will participate in the Cabinet&#8217;s security-related meeting (CCS Meeting) on Wednesday (23 April).</p>

<p>US President Donald Trump expressed grief and strongly condemned the deaths of tourists in the Pulwama terrorist attack. Trump wrote in his post, “Concerning news from Kashmir. America stands firmly with India against terrorism. We pray for the peace of the departed souls and the speedy recovery of the injured. <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Russia Also Condemns the Attack</strong></h2>



<p>Russia has strongly objected to the Pulwama attack in Jammu and Kashmir. Russian Ambassador Denis Alipov expressed condolences to the people and government of India over the terrorist attack on tourists in Pulwama. He tweeted, “Russia stands firmly with India.”</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Two Foreign Nationals Killed in Terrorist Attack</h2>



<p>Two foreign nationals were killed in the Pahalgam terrorist attack. Reports suggest they were from Nepal and the UAE. Two to three terrorists fired more than 50 rounds. Shubham Dwivedi, son of Sanjay Dwivedi, a cement businessman from Chakeri, Shyam Nagar police station area in Kanpur, also died in the attack.</p>

<p>The terrorist attack in Pahalgam has heightened concerns. The Amarnath Yatra is scheduled to commence on 3 July 2025, and Pahalgam houses the base camp. An eyewitness claimed that the terrorists asked for names before shooting. One eyewitness stated that a person approached and shot him, allegedly saying that he was not Muslim and therefore shot.</p>
